Tomb robbers steal from tombs because they want the gold,linen, glass, and frankincense and myrrh. They want the gold because it could be pried down into other gold objects. If you didn't know that linen was hard to make then you must be crazy. It takes forever just to make a little bit of linen. They take the glass because in Ancient Egypt its scarce. OMG, we has glass almost everywhere around us. The last thing they go for is the frankincense and myrrh because of the smell. It smells soo good!!

Anubis wears that weird mask because it represents the role of the dog being the guard of the body. His pointed ears suggest that he was a jackal. he appeared as a jackal to prevent real jackals from coming and disturbing the dead . Anubis was the maker of the first mummy, which happened to be Osiris. Anubis is the god of the dead. All gods wore mask to signify that he was a god. I wonder if it ever gets hot in them!! He was the first man to make people into mummies. But he is long dead now.
I bet I know things you don't like how Anubis makes mummies!! First he cut the body open from the left side of the adomen with this special knife or blade. Then he take out ALL of the organs except for the heart. Then he stores them in little canopic jars he puts in the sarcophagus for their afterlife. Next he dries out the body for 40 days straight. When the body is done, he stuff the body with either linen, or wax. He wraps the body in pieces of cloth. For the sarcophagus, it depends on how much money you have to spend on the outside. Some are wood. Some are gold and some are in gold that's in gold. WOW!! That's for the rich people of course!!
Have you ever wondered why they save the bodies just to make mummies?!? Well, they treat you like you are still alive and apart of the family because you are. It's like you're not even dead! Thats how much they love you. Aww, isn't that sweet!! Also, when your a mummy they come and bring you food and other things you could use in the afterlife!!
